The best Frozen Yogurt recipe made with fresh strawberries, scooped and served in a bowl.

Homemade Frozen Yogurt is my favorite healthy way to beat the heat.

The best part of making frozen yogurt is you don't have to have an ice cream maker or any special equipment. You can choose any type of fruit flavor, and it's inexpensive, lower calorie and fat than regular ice cream. Just blend the ingredients and freeze. You won't believe how easy it is.

For an even healthier treat, try homemade fruit pops!

How to make Frozen Yogurt:

Blend: Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender (ideally with a tamper) or a food processor and blend until smooth. Add an extra spoonful or two of Greek yogurt, if needed, to help it mix.

Two images showing how to make frozen yogurt by blending frozen fruit, plain Greek yogurt, honey, sugar, and vanilla extract.

Freeze for at least 2-3 hours before scooping and serving. Enjoy!

Can you use fresh peaches? I have a case of peaches and trying to get rid of them before they go bad.

I’m wondering if I could use Fat Free Greek Yogurt in your recipe. I follow Weight Watchers and am always looking for low point desserts to satisfy my sweets cravings.

This froyo is so delicious!!!! I make it for my 21-month-old and she loves it! I substitute peaches with lots of fruit if I am out, and it works just as well! Try that if you wanna change it up a bit! I did find the same exact recipe..measurements, ingredients, everything! But you know, the more the merrier! This is still a 5-star recipe!

The boys LOVE this treat! I feel so good giving it to them. There is a lot of additives in so much of our food these days but not this one! Feels clean and who cares about the calories… it’s healthy ice cream/yogurt to us!! 🙂

Do you think I could use vanilla Greek yogurt (I know it would have the added sugar) and omit the honey? I’d like to make this for my baby, and he can’t have honey yet.

What kind of food processor do you recommend? I have been wanting to get one but haven’t known what kind would be most versatile. Thanks for your amazing recipes and for including nutrition for each. I love that!

I made this tonight with frozen peaches from a farm stand. Mine was delicious with an additional tablespoon of honey. I mixed all the ingredients in my Cuisinart and then froze it in my ice cream maker. I would make this again!
