The best Frozen Yogurt recipe made with fresh strawberries, scooped and served in a bowl.

Homemade Frozen Yogurt is my favorite healthy way to beat the heat.

The best part of making frozen yogurt is you don’t have to have an ice cream maker or any special equipment. You can choose any type of fruit flavor, and it’s inexpensive, lower calorie and fat than regular ice cream. Just blend the ingredients and freeze. You won’t believe how easy it is.

For an even healthier treat, try homemade fruit pops!

How to make Frozen Yogurt:

Blend: Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender (ideally with a tamper) or a food processor and blend until smooth. Add an extra spoonful or two of Greek yogurt, if needed, to help it mix.

Freeze for at least 2-3 hours before scooping and serving. Enjoy!

  1. I made this in minutes. I followed the recipe and ended up adding another 11/2 cups of yogurt without adjusting the sweeteners. Totally delicious. I had frozen mixed berries. Can’t wait to try another flavor.

This was a complete fail. The fruit to yogurt ratio is WAY off. The honey freezes into a hard mess and even my Ninja nearly died trying unsuccessfully to blend this mess. Did anyone actually test this?

  3. I don’t have greek yogurt so I think i’ll just drain my regular plain yogurt for a few minutes in my fine mesh strainer. I’m sure this recipe is a winner. Real vanilla beans, stevia, and xanthan gum are also my intended changes. I read recently that a famous ice cream brand sold out and is nowhere near the same recipe of old. So sad! This easy healthy recipe makes me happy again, lol.

  4. I’m wondering if I could use Fat Free Greek Yogurt in your recipe. I follow Weight Watchers and am always looking for low point desserts to satisfy my sweets cravings.

This froyo is so delicious!!!! I make it for my 21-month-old and she loves it! I substitute peaches with lots of fruit if I am out, and it works just as well! Try that if you wanna change it up a bit! I did find the same exact recipe..measurements, ingredients, everything! But you know, the more the merrier! This is still a 5-star recipe!

The boys LOVE this treat! I feel so good giving it to them. There is a lot of additives in so much of our food these days but not this one! Feels clean and who cares about the calories… it’s healthy ice cream/yogurt to us!! 🙂

    1. The calories on this recipe are calculated with an automated plugin based on ingredients and serving size. There is an estimated 109 calories per serving in this frozen yogurt. Please don’t leave hateful and unconstructive comments especially when you didn’t make the recipe. They will be deleted, that’s my prerogative as this is my website.

  7. Do you think I could use vanilla Greek yogurt (I know it would have the added sugar) and omit the honey? I’d like to make this for my baby, and he can’t have honey yet.

  8. What kind of food processor do you recommend? I have been wanting to get one but haven’t known what kind would be most versatile. Thanks for your amazing recipes and for including nutrition for each. I love that!

    1. I have the Hamilton Beach brand for my larger food processor (a 12-cup), and I also have a small cusinart one. Both have been great!

I made this tonight with frozen peaches from a farm stand. Mine was delicious with an additional tablespoon of honey. I mixed all the ingredients in my Cuisinart and then froze it in my ice cream maker. I would make this again!

    Hi Lauren:)

This is the First time emailing you!
I hope you get this……I Love your recipes….can’t wait to try alot of them!

I have a few questions about this Peach Frozen Yogurt, ok?
I just received a Wolfgang Puck’s Dessert Maker and it makes ice cream and frozen yogurt type desserts.

**If I wanted to Double this recipe, how much of each ingredient would I Need to make a Quart??
**Do I still make it all the same and just put it in the frozen ‘Freezer Bowl’ and run the Dessert maker just the same,
    with the paddle, etc.??
Also, Lauren, if you have Any Other Frozen Yogurt Recipes, please let me know, as I am trying to make a lower calorie frozen yogurt and healthier treat.

Also** Would ‘Stevia’ work in the frozen yogurt??

If you have any other tips that would help me, I would appreciate it:)

    Thanks so much
    Judy
