An easy homemade pizza crust smothered in garlic ranch sauce and topped with grilled chicken, bacon, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
We are a little bit obsessed with homemade pizza at our house! And by obsessed I mean we make some almost every weekend! We have our favorites of course, like Barbecue Chicken Pizza, classic cheese, and this Garlic-Ranch Chicken Pizza which I’m so excited to share! It has a deliciously easy homemade sauce and all of the toppings I love–tomatoes, chicken, bacon, and mozzarella cheese! It’s delicious!!
But the real deal maker for this pizza, is the my perfect homemade pizza crust. I’ve tried many, many recipes over the years and I’ve finally settled on the perfect one! It’s baked perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy and soft of the inside. And you can grill, or bake this pizza!
We’re a huge fan of both methods, but it’s really fun and delicious grilled during the summertime! Find instructions below for grilled pizza!

- Brush dough with olive oil and grill for 2 minutes on one side, with the grill cover on.
- Flip to the other side and brush again with olive oil. Cook for 2 minutes, with the grill lid on.
- Remove crust to a plate and add toppings.
- Return to grill and cook just until cheese is melted, 1-2 more minutes.

Made with fresh dough from Walmart,by their to go pizza! Have been looking for a great garlic white sauce that used mayo! Going to make the sauce for salads too! Great pizza!!
My son has a dairy allergy. Would the sauce still turn out if I use dairy free milk and sour cream and cheese?
Yes, that’s fine
We loved this pizza. My husband was so surprised and how delish it was. He wants me to remember the ranch dressing for salad…..happy I found your website.
Wanted to know if you have tried using fat free greek yogurt in place of the sour cream.
I used plain yogurt for this sauce last time I made it, and it was still delicious! Couldn’t even taste the difference! 👌
Best. Pizza. Topping. EVER! I was searching the internet for some different options for homemade pizza when I can across this one. Wow – it is so delicious and tastes so rich , even without the bacon (didn’t have any on hand). I appreciate that the white sauce is actually a “recipe” instead of just a brand-name spice packet which would not be available where I currently live. Make sure to use the whole amount of the sauce. It may seem like a lot when you spread on the dough but it bakes down beautifully into a wonderful sauce.
Note: I did add some Parmesan for some extra flavor and salt, since I didn’t add the bacon. I also chose to put the tomatoes on the very top (which I salted and peppered) over the cheese.
Yum! Thank you so much for sharing!
Soo good. My favorite use of the crappy breast meat.
I made this tonight and it was so good! My friend said, “can we have this again”? And then she said “can we have this for my birthday next year”? It was the best pizza I have ever made!
What happens if I leave out the dill?
A fantastic success! Will definitely make this again. The pizza base went well with it.
I want to make this pizza as my family and I are huge fans of garlic-ranch and bacon. In the recipe, you don’t mention which green spice you sprinkled on top of the pizza.
Hi Rick, I just sprinkled some parsley on top, mostly for aesthetics.
Oh My Gosh! I’ve never actually had a white sauce on pizza before, but this I think tops any I might have in the future. It was soooo good. I did add closer to 1 tsp garlic powder, and used italian seasoning instead of parsley cause I didn’t have any. I could have easily eaten a whole pizza with this sauce, it was that good. Definitely going to be making again and again. Thank you!
Thanks so much Danielle– I’m really happy you liked it so much!
This pizza was so delicious. I can’t wait to have it in my monthly rotation for years to come. Thank you so much for sharing with us, cheers! x
This was nothing short of the best pizza we have ever made. I cook the chicken breast in garlic olive oil with Greek seasoning and then use the mixer with the paddle attachment to shred the chicken. To the toppings, I added chopped artichokes and sliced Kalamata olive’s. This was absolutely delicious.
Thanks Brenda! I love your additions–sounds fantastic! Thanks for commenting 🙂
Yum! I made your perfect pizza crust, your white garlic chicken pizza, and your garlic ranch chicken pizza…Everything was delicious!!! I sprinkled the dough with garlic salt before baking and I added more toppings that I knew my family would enjoy. The pizzas were a huge hit and I already know I will be using the recipes for years to come. Thank you so much!!!
Hi Michelle, thanks so much for your nice comment! I’m so happy you’ve had success with the pizza recipes! We LOVE homemade pizza 🙂 Thanks again for commenting!
Lauren – I’m drooling over this recipe. I don’t eat regular bacon, but I’d totally throw some turkey bacon on this pizza. Winner winner!
Thanks for the recipe! Once I learned how to make good crust I prefer eating in rather than going out for pizza. I haven’t found a crust that works 100% of the time though, yet, so I will try yours.
