Why I love this recipe:

  • Healthier – I adapted this Chocolate Banana Bread recipe from my Healthy Banana Bread recipe, so it’s much lower in sugar and fat than a typical bakery-style chocolate quick bread, but you’d never know it! It’s absolutely delicious!
  • Kid-Friendly – Every kid loves chocolate banana bread, and my kids love helping me make it too!
  • Quick – Just a few minutes to make the batter and then bake. So easy and quick to take to friends, neighbors, or to keep for yourself.

This chocolate chocolate chip bread has my whole heart (as far as baked goods are concerned. It is so delicious. When my dear friend made it for me, I asked her for the recipe and she told me it was based on her banana bread recipe, I didn’t believe her. You can’t taste the banana at all! It’s just perfectly chocolatey in taste and the texture is mmmm….
