Busy Night? This One-Pan Boursin Pasta Has You

Boursin Pasta has saved me on more busy weeknights than I can count! Thanks to the boursin cheese, the pasta sauce comes together so fast that nobody could guess how easy it was. My kids request this on the regular!
You can use any type of bite-size pasta that you like. And I'll often throw in some sautéed veggies, like asparagus, zucchini or serve with a side of steamed broccoli or a green salad. Our fresh baguettes are also always a winner served with Boursin pasta.

How to make Boursin Cheese Pasta:
Cook Pasta and Chicken: Follow package instructions to cook pasta in salted boiling water, until al dente. Drain but make sure to keep the pasta water! Season chicken with salt and pepper then cook in a skillet over medium heat with a little olive oil. Add chicken and cook until browned, turning once, until cooked through (165°F). Move to a plate and rest for a few minutes, before chopping into pieces.
Make Sauce: Melt butter in pan then fry shallots for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low then add 1 cup reserved pasta water, scraping up any browned bits. Whisk in boursin cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine: Dump cooked pasta into sauce and toss evenly to coat. Add a splash of pasta water, if needed, to thin the sauce then season with salt and pepper, if needed. Garnish with fresh parmesan and parsley then serve this easy boursin pasta immediately with homemade breadsticks or garlic knots and a wedge salad or green beans!

Making this for the 2nd time tonight; my entire family LOVED this so much including my 11 yr old Grandson! Easy, quick & “guests” quality!
I made this for dinner tonight! It was super easy, filling and delicious. My husband and 1 of 2 kids liked it, so that’s a win for us! Ha! Next time, I will save the parsley for garnish for those who want it. The 7 year old didn’t like “the green stuff” 😉
I LOVE this recipe! I made it last night for dinner with asparagus and both my husband and I really enjoyed the meal. It did only take about 30 minutes as mentioned. I look forward to the first of the month to see “what’s next!” Thank you for another great challenge recipe! Yum!
I needed a quick and easy meal and this knocked it out of the park! My husband immediately complimented the sauce and he’s the biggest critic of new recipes. It’s simple and easily ready in less than 30 minutes. I paired it with steamed broccoli. Defintely going into my meal rotation!
EASY! And, of course, delicious! I made it last night, and my husband thought it was so good that he offered it to the electrician who was working late at our home! (It serves 6, so we had plenty left over for lunches.) I do think I will add some spinach to the recipe next time I make it, so we can get our greens. Thank you, Laura! You have never disappointed! <3
We loved this recipe! I had never bought Boursin cheese before so glad it was at our co op. Used a random noodle we had, and we had multiple servings :)!
Tasted a bit bland… needed extra Parmesan cheese for flavor. Healthy and eaten by teenagers who tend to be more selective.
Holy weeknight meal, Batman. This recipe is so easy and delicious that it is 100% worth the price of Boursin cheese. I added a generous spoon of minced garlic in with the diced shallot. This one is for sure going in the regular rotation.
This was amazing! Farfalle pasta is one of my favorites, so I was excited to try this. It did not disappoint. I added some chopped mushrooms with the shallots because I had some in the frig that needed to be used. Great dinner both quick and tasty.
This recipe was fantastic! So quick and easy and full of flavor. Definitely a keeper in dinner rotations!
This dinner was so yummy and truly come together in 20 minutes! It’s a great one to add to a weeknight rotation. My only change would be to throw in some veggies. I think next time I make it (because I’ll for sure make it again), I’ll add a bag of frozen peas!
