The recipe was super fun to make, a bit chaotic for me because I mixed up tablespoon with cups, but it tasted good and I loved how easy it was to make, using only things that basically everybody has in their household. It was a little bit crummy, it wasn’t tight but the taste made up for it, and it was good with the dark chocolate. And I added some whipped cream.
Thank you Lauren!
I used whole wheat flour and it came out warm and crumbly!!!! So so good. I’ve never had a good mug cake before so this was a win!!!
I don’t usually comment on recipes, but I really love this one. I’ve found that just one tablespoon of sugar works for me. I also replace the oil with applesauce and it is still really good!
Tasty and easy!
I made this just as is – butter, milk, chocolate chips, oh my! New go to fave for this house. Word of caution – chips are HOT and will burn your mouth if you try to inhale right from the nuker, lol!!
This was so tasty! I added some crushed peanuts to mine and topped it with some melted chocolate. Can’t wait to make this again with any iterations of toppings and add-ins, I’m thinking some bacon bits and then banana slices on top for an Elvis moment… 😉
My peanut butter loving toddler went on a PB strike about a couple months ago. We replaced PB with Nutella & a sprinkling of sprinkles on top. Because of course she did. 🙂 Sooo good, thank you for your recipe! It’s wonderful and I love your notes for variations! Oh and my girl says she loves you <3
Great, quick recipe that satisfied my PB/chocolate craving. I added the cocoa powder, used Fairlife chocolate milk and I didn’t have any chocolate hips on hand. Still was enjoyable without them.
Just made this and added a tablespoon of chocolate protein powder plus an extra tablespoon of skim milk for a little protein boost. Yum!
I tried it with cocoa powder (1 1/2 tsp) and it was a big fail. 🙁 The texture wasn’t right and I knew it, but I had no clue how to fix it.
I used some chocolate protein powder and added more milk to balance the additional dry ingredient (1:1 tbsp ratio worked well)
It’s super delicious. Peanut butter is always been my favourite but had never tried recipes out of it. This is the first one and it turned out to be amazingly yummy and plus it’s eggless. I loved it, thank you so much for the recipe.
This was SO yummy and so easy!
Tastes amazing!! Especially with some white chocolate chips (that’s all I had in my pantry but it tastes so good) recipe is simple to follow and smells like a warm hug
i was really dry and tasted like flour and chocolate
Why, why do you tempt me with your delicious treats?! I am a sucker for all things chocolate and peanut butter, so naturally, I had to try this. I’m not lying when I say this could be my new favorite treat. It’s insanely easy to make, I almost always have the ingredients, and it always satisfies my ever present sweet tooth. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
