My kids know it's fall the second this Pumpkin Portein Shake starts showing up in the morning. I started making this shake a few years ago when I created several seasonal protein shakes to enjoy all during the holiday season. They taste like a treat, but are a filling, protein-packed breakfast. Now my oldest asks for one before school almost every single day, and I don't mind one bit since it's basically a treat for breakfast.

How to make Pumpkin Protein Shake:
Add the Ingredients: Add the frozen banana, pumpkin puree, protein powder, oats, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg to your blender. Pour in almond milk and top with ice cubes.
Blend: Blend on high until smooth (about 30 to 60 seconds) scraping down the sides if needed, until the shake is creamy with no chunks left. Pour into a glass and enjoy right away.

- 1 small frozen banana
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree*
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 Tablespoons rolled oats
- 1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, , or more, to taste
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 cup unsweetened or vanilla almond milk
- 4-6 ice cubes
Instructions
