These viral Chocolate Strawberry Cups give you all the chocolate covered strawberry flavor, without dipping, drying, or making a mess.

If you’ve been seeing viral chocolate strawberry cups everywhere, you’re not alone.
I fell in love with these at the Borough Market in London and they’re basically the easiest way to enjoy chocolate covered strawberries without the dipping-and-drying situation. You just cut off the stems of the strawberries, toss them in a cup, and pour melted chocolate on top (we have a trick for making the chocolate pourable!). The chocolate flows down the cracks to touch every strawberry and it tastes absolutely heavenly! We serve them in plastic solo cups, with a wooden skewer to eat them, just like they do at the Borough Market.
They're easy enough to make for a group or just yourself, and the chocolate-to-strawberry ratio is perfect in every bite.

Hi Lauren, is your nutrition information for the entire recipe? Do you use the same rule for all of your recipes? I find internet recipes confusing as some are per serving, which I find helpful, and others are not. 706 calories tells me this must be the calories for the entire recipe which is 4 servings. (I hope)
Hi! Totally get the confusion. On this recipe, the nutrition info is per serving, and a serving is 1 large cup (the recipe makes 4). So the 706 calories is for one cup, not the whole batch. She uses that same approach across her recipes, and it’s always an estimate since brands and exact amounts can vary.
It seems like
the strawberries may become one big blob once the chocolate solidifies.
Totally get the worry, but nope, they don’t turn into a strawberry brick 😄 As long as you don’t pack the cup super tight, the chocolate drips between them and they stay scoopable.
Do you think chocolate chips might work? This looks delicious, thanks!
Yes! Chocolate chips totally work. 💛 Best move: add a little coconut oil so they melt smooth and pourable. About 1 tbsp oil per 8 oz chips. Just melt low + slow (microwave in 20 sec bursts, stir a lot) and you’re good.
How far in advance can these be made?
These are best fresh so the chocolate is melted but you can prep them a few hours ahead and keep them in the fridge, but the strawberries will start to get juicy and the chocolate will firm up. If you’re making them for a party, I’d do them the day of (or assemble right before serving) for the prettiest cups.
