This Apple Cider Slushie is cool, refreshing, and tastes better than anything served at the pumpkin patches. I love to decorate the glass with a caramel drizzle and you can add an optional salted caramel syrup to give it a fun flavor twist.

An apple cider slushie is so fun to make by just pouring apple cider in a slushie machine. It only takes 15 minutes and makes it so fun to eat!

Apple Cider, But Make It Slushy!

I love a warm mug of apple cider, but this Apple Cider Slushie is such a fun way to switch things up! It’s sweet, refreshing, and I love to dress up the glass by dipping the rim in cinnamon sugar and adding a caramel swirl to the inside of the cup. My kids have been obsessed with this recipe, and think our new Flimma AS301 Slushie Machine machine is the coolest thing! It uses a true compressor cooling system to freeze drinks so it doesn’t water down the flavor and has a large pitcher for a big crowd. It provides the perfect slushy texture from first cup to last with it’s auto-reverse mixing.

I love that slushies feels fun and special but couldn’t be easier to make. I literally pour in apple cider (or any beverage that has at least 5% sugar) and they are sipping their slushies 15 minutes later. Stay tuned as we try more flavors and even soft serve ice cream in the future.

Try more of my favorite beverages, like Lemonade, Wassail, Hot Cocoa, Homemade Iced Tea, Chocolate Milk, Boba Smoothie, and Pumpkin Spice Eggnog!

How to make an Apple Cider Slushie:

Pour in Apple Cider: Pour ½ gallon pre-chilled apple cider, regular or spiced, into a slushie machine. For the optional salted caramel version, add ¼ cup Torani salted caramel syrup.

Choose Setting: Use the normal Slushie setting for plain apple cider. If you added the optional syrup, press the Spiked Slushie button instead.

Wait 15 Minutes: The apple cider slushie is ready when it has thickened. My slushie machine beeps and says “done”, usually in about 15 minutes. You can serve this as is, or I love to dress it up by dipping the rim into water then cinnamon sugar and swirling some caramel sauce on the inside of the cup. Garnish with a slice of apple or cinnamon stick, and you could even add vanilla ice cream!

Frozen apple cider slush is so enjoyable on a warm fall day! Just use a slushie machine to freeze it into a perfect texture. Add caramel syrup and a caramel drizzle for a yummy caramel apple cider slushie.
