Chocolate Milk that's quick and easy to make from home.

There's something so satisfying about making Chocolate Milk from scratch and I love that I always have the ingredients needed. Plus, store-bought chocolate milk has a bunch of ingredients you can't pronounce and just tastes artificial in comparison. Our Homemade chocolate milk is easy to adapt the amount of cocoa and sweetener so it's exactly how your family likes it!

How to make Chocolate Milk:
Make Chocolate Sauce: Whisk cocoa powder, sugar (or maple syrup), salt, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Slowly whisk in 1 cup of milk, mixing until completely smooth. Cook over medium-low for 2-3 minutes, whisking constantly, until smooth and the sugar dissolves. Do not boil! Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Slowly whisk in 1 more cup of milk to help cool it slightly.
Combine: Pour chocolate sauce into a large pitcher with the remaining 6 cups of milk. Whisk, blend, or shake very well until it's all mixed. Chill in the refrigerator until it's cold. Shake every time before serving. Chocolate Milk will keep well in the refrigerator until the milk's expiration date. Enjoy!
