I decided to make homemade sub bread 🥖, meatballs, and pizza sauce for some meatball subs. My sub bread is baking up beautifully in the oven now. (Fingers crossed 🤞) And this sauce smells SO good. I just plopped it right in with the meatballs on the stove top to simmer it all together for half an hour. I’m excited to try everything together. I feel like Martha Stewart today. Haha thanks for this recipe!

I updated my review to reflect that the recipe is incorrect. It states to use a 28 ounce can of tomatoes but leaves out the tomato paste entirely. Now my sauce is extremely soupy. I just removed my meatballs and had to double everything (except the tomatoes) to thicken the sauce and make it correct. Now I have tons and tons of sauce though. lol. The taste is good though. Just want to warn others and let you know the recipe needs fixed in your website. Thanks.

Made this, with the pizza dough. It was a hit with my kiddos. Definitely a keeper. I even did stuffed crust and brushed garlic butter on the outside. Mmm drooling.

Very tasty and easy to make. I froze the leftovers in an ice cube tray. In the future, I’ll use 4 ice cubes worth of sauce for a pizza.
