Lasagna Soup made with ground beef, sausage, spinach and three types of cheese!  The perfect easy dinner for those cold winter nights!

We are in soup mode at our house and surprisingly, my kids have been loving it.  This lasagna soup was a huge hit as was Creamy White Chicken Chili and even Authentic New Orleans Gumbo (not truly a soup but a total winner!).

Lasagna Soup with a scoop of ricotta cheese on top and a spoon in the bowl.

I guess the only positive thing about cold winter temperatures is that you can continue cooking warm comfort food and soups, like this delicious Lasagna Soup! This soup is seriously yummy! .  This tastes just like lasagna, but in soup form, so how could it not be amazing?!

How to Make Lasagna Soup:

1. Brown the meat. In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and sausage until browned. Season with salt and pepper as you cook. Drain grease and remove meat from the pot.

2. Cook onion and garlic.  In a large pot heat olive oil over medium heat. Toss in diced onion and sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in minced garlic and cook for another minute or two.

3. Add sauce and spices.  Stir in tomato paste, marinara sauce, spices, and broth. Return meat to the pot.

Browned meat in a dutch oven with tomato sauce and chicken broth added.

4. Add lasagna noodles.  Bring the pot to a boil then add lasagna noodles (broken into 4ths) to pot and reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender. Add spinach, if using.

5. Combine cheeses.  In a small bowl, stir together mozzarella, Parmesan and ricotta cheeses.

Cooked lasagna noodles in a pot of soup and a small bowl of ricotta and mozzarella cheese on the side.

6. Serve warm.  Ladle the hot soup into bowls, and dollop a scoop of the cheese mixture on top. Garnish with fresh basil.

Make ahead and freezing instructions:

To make ahead: Make the recipe up to step 4.  Do not add the noodles to the pot.  Store the soup in the refrigerator.  When ready to serve, start at step 5, bringing the soup to a boil and cooking the noodles at that point. Serve with a dollop of cheese.

To freeze: Freeze lasagna soup without the cheese.  Place soup in a freezer safe container and freeze for 2-3 months.  Thaw in the refrigerator overnight and reheat slowly on the stovetop.  If you are making this recipe specifically for freezing, you may choose to make the noodles fresh once ready to serve (see make ahead instructions).

Store lasagna soup covered, in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

A spoon scooping up Lasagna Soup from a white bowl.

Other Variations of Lasagna Soup:

  • Vegetarian Lasagna Soup:  Omit the sausage and ground beef and add more chopped vegetables to step 3 (cooking with onion and garlic). I recommend zucchini, mushrooms, and yellow squash.
  • Vegan Lasagna Soup: Omit the sausage and ground beef and add more chopped vegetables to step 3 (cooking with onion and garlic). I recommend zucchini, mushrooms, and yellow squash.  Substitute the cheese with homemade cashew ricotta.
  • Pasta substitutions: Substitute any type of pasta for the broken lasagna noodles!

My family love, love, love this recipe. I followed the recipe as written and also made the marinara sauce. This is a keeper. Thank you for sharing this AWESOME recipe♥

  2. 5 stars
Tweaked things just a little based on sizes that were available from my grocery. (Ex…48 oz of chicken broth instead of 56) I also took a tip from comments and added 4oz of heavy whipping cream, served it with basic sliced buttered Italian bread from the bakery section and this was awesome!!!

  3. 5 stars
Made this today and my husband, who spares no words when commenting on a new recipe, told me this was a forever-keeper!! I doubled both meats and followed the rest as is… incredible!!

  4. 5 stars
This was a banger. I made just a couple changes, I added 1/2 a cup of heavy cream. I didn’t drain the meat and in place of tomato paste (mostly because I didn’t have it) I just added a can of diced tomatoes juice and all. I also added Italian seasoning garlic powder and black pepper to the ricotta cheese mix. This is probably my new favorite way to eat lasagna.

  5. I can’t wait to try it! Has anyone used store bought marinara? I’m short on time and would love to know which brand of marinara to use..

  6. 5 stars
We have a new family favorite!!! this dish was excellent! i wanted to try the manara recipe linked above.. squishing the tomatoes with my hands was so therapeutic.. and easy!! The one big thing i did differently was to put the soup in a casserole dish, add the cheese mixture on top, and baked it in the oven for 15 mins at 400 deg.. we could not stop eating it!!!

  7. 5 stars
This turned out so good! I had 1lb of ground turkey on hand so that’s what I used. But I bet it would be even better with sausage instead. I also used frozen spinach because that’s what I had. Next time I’ll definitely cut the noodles a little smaller just so they fit on the spoon easier. But I’ll definitely be making this again!

  8. 5 stars
We’ve made this recipe twice now and everytime we remember why it’s a family favorite. We have shared it with anyone who will listen. Thanks for the delicious food!

  9. 5 stars
Another great recipe from Lauren! Since I had the ingredients on hand I gave it a try and it is now our favorite soup recipe!!! Thanks TBFS!

  10. Oh my goodness! I have been wanting to try this for weeks, and today I finally did. So, so, SO good! I’m feeding my daughter and 4 of her college volleyball teammates today, and I am so thrilled with how this turned out! DELICIOUS! And, I don’t say that lightly. So much flavor and depth! We will be having this again and again!

  11. Does anyone know if this recipe can be halved? I’m a college student and don’t think I have a pot big enough for this soup, but I really want to try it!

  12. 4 stars
You know what would be great?? Say HOW MANY OUNCES of pasta is needed in case you’re not using actual lasagne noodles.

  13. 5 stars
I let my son make this with me as part of teaching a man to fish. But when sat down to eat it with some garlic bread he ate it like a bear out of hibernation!! This was so good…soooo good!

  14. 4 stars
I’m ‘gonna‘ try this recipe but will substitute the pork sausage for spicy breakfast ground turkey sausage. This meal sounds absolutely delicious!

  15. 4 stars
Delish! Make sure you read use LESS parsley if using dried!! Made that mistake, but still tasted great!
    Will def make again

  16. 4 stars
My girlfriend asked for some Lasagna soup tonight, never heard of it prior.
Followed this recipe to the best of my ingredients after shopping (some stuff not available at store) came out great. Good recipe would recommend 100%

  17. 5 stars
Made this for the family last week and wow – it was a total hit with everyone!! So easy to customize, and so flavorful! I love the added color AND nutrients that the spinach provides, and for those with picky eaters they will likely not even know they are eating spinach! This will be in my regular rotation during the winter months!

  18. 5 stars
A real winner in our house! I like to try every recipe as written before I tweak them to make them our own, this is pretty perfect. I doubled it and dropped some off for my brother’s family to enjoy.

  19. 5 stars
Hubs and I give this a thumbs up! Good winter soup to add to my list. The cheese dollop is key and you only need a small tablespoonful. It tempting to sprinkle extra Parmesan but skip to enjoy the lasagna flavors.

  20. 5 stars
Soup is absolutely delicious. I got confused while making soup. Under ingredients it says noodles broken into pieces but under directions it says broken into fourths. I broke noodles into fourths and they were way too big to eat with a spoon. Next time I will do pieces.

  21. 5 stars
This was amazing! I had to tweak it since we have dairy and egg allergies in this house, but it still came out incredible. I’m not usually a leftover person, but the leftovers were great! Definitely adding this to our dinner rotation!

  22. 5 stars
Excellent recipe. This was delicious! The only thing I did different was use Mafalda shaped pasta because it looks like mini pieces of lasagna noodles. It saved me a step in breaking up whole lasagna noodles. This will be going into my soup rotation. Thank you for the recipe! 🙂

  23. 5 stars
I made this recipe with ground chicken instead to avoid red meat. Definitely still delicious. I will say that braking the lasagna noodles into only 4ths makes it hard to eat. In the future I will likely be substituting a more bite sized noodle. But that’s just my preference! Still a wonderful soup!

  24. 5 stars
We loved this recipe! Followed directions exactly, and using my homemade marinara sauce from Jeffrey Eisner’s cookbook. Next time I’ll add some mushrooms and zucchini when sautéing the onion and garlic.

  25. 5 stars
    Hi!
I made this lasagna soup recipe tonight for dinner. Followed your recipe to a T. Ok, not totally. I used left over lasagna I had.
I made the marina sauce following your recipe too.
My daughter don’t like soup… She LOVED it and ate a second bowl!
My son said it was so flavorful, so good!
Hubby sais it’s a keeper. I agree with them.
Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe!

  26. Really easy and flexible to substitute with what you have on hand. I used 93% lean ground beef, browned with some olive oil and cooked the onions with the beef to keep from using another pot. For the broth, I used knorr chicken tomato bouillon cubes and water. Very good and just as satisfying (well almost!) as a lasagna.

  27. 5 stars
I’ve made this multiple times now and it’s become a staple!! So yummy! I want to bring it to a potluck and am wondering if you’ve ever made it in a slow cooker before? If so would you happen to have the directions? Thank you!

  28. I’ve made this multiple times now and it’s become a staple!! So yummy! I want to bring it to a potluck and am wondering if you’ve ever made it in a slow cooker before? If so would you happen to have the directions? Thank you!

    1. Yes, you could make it in the slow cooker! Cook the meat first, but then add everything to the crockpot and cook for several hours if you’d like. Add the noodles closer to eating as they’ll probably take 30-45 minutes or so to cook.

  29. 4 stars
I started my soup in the morning and simmered it all day to create depth of flavor. I also added a can of whole tomatoes with juice that I crushed (the whole tomatoes have the most flavor). I added the spinach at the very end after turning the stove off. That added a nice brightness.

  30. I would like to know how much this recipe makes in ounces please. I am making six gallons of this next week and need to know how many batches I need to make.
    Thank you

  31. 5 stars
Wow! This recipe is amazing!!!!!!!!! I did add double the ground beef and I added about 5 big carrots with the onions to sauté for extra veggies. Whole family loved it and can’t wait to make again!!

    1. Hope you loved the lasagna soup!! In testing, we liked the overall flavor better with chicken stock but BOTH are amazing and will work great in this recipe. We would love it if you would leave a rated review with how it came out for you!

  32. 5 stars
This was delicious! I saw some people saying that it wasn’t overly soupy, but that can be remedied by adding water/broth. I personally prefer a thicker soup with more solids so this was perfect! Definitely making this again!

  33. I would recommend cooking the cheese mixture a little bit not just as a Dollup like you would do a sour cream. Italians would prefer it like it was in a lasagna, not an afterthought.

  34. 5 stars
I made the soup exactly as written except I cooked the onion with the meat and used turkey Italian sausage. It was sublime! I never review recipes but this one is worth it. Simple, quick, one pot, and absolutely delicious!

  35. 5 stars
I made this recipe last week and loved it. Do you think Chorizo sausage meat would work as well. I couldn’t get regular Italian sausage meat today.

  36. 3 stars
My soup did not get soupy either. Followed directions, but did add the vegetables suggested for vegan lasagna. Tasted great. I considered turning it into a lasagna. I liked it better the second day. Dry enough to serve it on a plate, used extra cheese with it and it was great. Gave it three stars because it really wasn’t soup. 5 stars for taste. Bread was a necessity, I think it needed crunch.

  37. 5 stars
As my neighbor, I shared with , slurpy noises and yummy delicious and so pretty!! Ingenious!!! To translate these usual difficult favourites into SOUP!!! Thank yöööö another wonderful comfort food addition!!!

  38. 5 stars
I stumbled on this recipe and I’m officially obsessed! I made this for dinner for my husband and kids and everyone wanted seconds. It’s easy to make and the flavors are delicious. 10/10!!

  39. 4 stars
Hi! I have everything BUT the stock on hand to make this. Can I use water and add more seasoning? Can’t wait to try!!!

  40. 5 stars
Amazing and delicious! Would love to make this for a potluck at work. Can I make this earlier in the morning and keep in a crockpot on warm till lunch time?

  41. 5 stars
Super yummy! Great soup on a cold, rainy, fall day. I used my own canned pasta sauce and instead of tomato paste I put in a pint of stewed tomatoes.

  42. 5 stars
I made this lasagna soup tonight it was wonderful. I love all kinds of soups and this one is awesome!!!!

  43. I have made this recipe many times! I love lasagna, but this so much lighter. My family loves it!

  44. I bought the ingredients for this, and realized I forgot to buy ricotta. I do have cottage cheese in my fridge, can I use this? Ugh I hate when I do this.

  45. 5 star recipe! I made this soup last night and it was SO GOOD. I followed the recipe, as is, including the fresh (baby) spinach. I will be making this again & will share it with others!

  46. 5 stars
First time making this soup and wow! So good! I did some minor adjustments based on our families personal preferences and it’s fabulous. Highly, highly recommend. My teens ate multiple bowls and gave it 2 thumbs up!

  47. 5 stars
Yes yes yes!!! My favorite dish as a soup. Cant get any better than this. I couldn’t wait to make this dish once I saw it. Looking for an excuse to make a delightful warm cozy soup night but nothing popped up until tonight! Absolutely delicious. I didn’t have dry basil only fresh so I added extra beside garnish and it took the soup that is already so delicious to the next level. Will be adding this to our fall and winter night dinner rotations.

  48. Even with store bought marinara, my homemade chicken stock, and doing some of my own things here and there, your recipe came out so good!!! Thank you for sharing.

    1. 5 stars
Loved it, and my partner and his family loved it!
Definitely cut the amount of stock if you want it to be less liquidy, the first time I made this I did 3 cups of vege stock. The second time I made this I doubled the recipe and I used 5 cups chicken stock. Chicken stock definitely had a much nicer flavour than vege stock in my opinion but it’s personal preference.
Ricotta where I live is expensive so I just made a bechamel / cheese sauce I found from a regular lasagna recipe and I dolloped that on top. Spinach was out of stock in my supermarket so I substituted with broccoli.
Also I used canned tomatoes but with seasoning (e.g canned tomatoes with basil and oregano or basil and garlic, etc) so that I didn’t have to add herbs (saves time!)

Will definitely be making again, such a nice dish in Winter

  49. 5 stars
Substituted beef for turkey and turkey sausage. Also added all the recommended veggies for the vegetarian version and it was awesomeeeeeee. Great recipe!!

  50. 5 stars
Sounds delicious as is, thinking of mini meatballs and mushrooms for me because I love them.

  51. 5 stars
Delicious! Definitely a 5-star recipe! My only suggestion would be to use less broth so will be a little thicker or more pasta (break into smaller strips for easier eating as well). Thank you for sharing, will be making often.

    1. I agree! Smaller lasagna pieces and less broth (which I decided to do anyway) is a great suggestion! Super yummy recipe all in all!

  52. 4 stars
I made the lasagna soup last night and it was terrific! I’m going to add it to my fall favorites recipes. It would make a fun, heart warming dish on a cool October night. A few things, DO add (the optional) spinach. And also I added only 5 cups of chicken broth and extra marinara sauce. I didn’t make my own sauce this time. I just used Prego old world style meat sauce and it worked out just fine.

  53. 5 stars
This was absolutely delicious!! Instead of taking the meat out of the pot once it was cooked I just left it in & added the chopped onion and the minced garlic & it came out just fine. I did add a cup less of chicken broth, slightly more red pepper flakes & added a whole box of lasagna noodles because i wanted it thicker. Definitely going to be adding it to our rotation.

  54. 5 stars
This was amazing. I used the homemade marinara sauce recipe with fresh herbs, frozen homemade chicken stock and frozen spinach. I started the marinara then prepped the soup ingredients, browned the meats and put them in a bowl, drained most of the fat leaving some to saute the onion/garlic, threw onion/garlic in meat bowl, put frozen chicken stock in pot and stirred till melted. By this time the marinara was done so I added the sauce/paste & meat to the stock pot, cooked the pasta, added the fresh herbs at the spinach step, and stirred till spinach thawed.

  55. 5 stars
I made this last night. It was sooo good. I did it in the instant pot & cooked the noodles separately so I could freeze leftovers. I added splash of basalmic vinegar. Also some of us are on low carb diets. Since I didn’t have ricotta cheese I used crumbled goat cheese. (my son & DIL raise goats so she makes cheese and shares with me. ) I say ADD the spinach, it really makes the soup even more special. Lots of lasagna Soup recipes out there, but we like this one the best. Thanks

  56. 5 stars
made this tonight and my only future alteration would be to use some other kind of noodle. the soup itself was fantastic, but with such big pieces of noodle i didn’t know whether to serve it with a fork or a spoon. the soup itself is watery and perfect for a spoon, but those noodles need more help than that… lol. i will absolutely be making this again, just different pasta! thank you for sharing!

  57. 5 stars
I made this recipe today, and included the spinach. Only thing I did add was 1 tablespoon sugar and a pinch of nutmeg. Outstanding! I will definitely make this again. Thanks so much for sharing!

  58. 5 stars
It’s the best soup I’ve ever had. I entered a soup fest contest and I won first place overall. Thanks for sharing.

  59. 5 stars
Made this twice and both times my family was raving. Substituted Better than bouillon veggie for the broth.

Def part of our rotation ! Thank you!

  60. 5 stars
Really good recipe! My family loved it. I used half low sodium and half regular broth. The spinach added gives it the perfect touch and of course the dollop of cheese. Yummy! Thank you!

  61. 5 stars
I love this recipe. I omitted the red pepper flakes. The spicy marinara was spicy enough. I added bread crumbs and an egg to the meat mixture, then made meatballs. I used bow tie pasta. I added chopped zuchinni when I added the noodles. I added an egg to the ricotta mixture, then cooked it in the microwave. I let it cool a little to firm up. We put scoops on top of the soup. Thank you for the great recipe!

  62. 5 stars
Love, love, love this! I only wish I had found it sooner. Normal ingredients, easy to make, and it looks beautiful.

  63. 5 stars
I’ve made this quite a few times. Always a big hit. Only thing I change up is the pasta shapes- lasagnetti, long fusilli, mafalda….. all work great.

    1. 5 stars
1 star for “just okay”.. lol. Ridiculous. Not sure how the flavors are off. This is a standard lasagna soup. You sound off Carla. Learn how to be kinder on the internet.

    2. Maybe the flavors were off because you didn’t use the ingredients that were suggested…? Because you didn’t like it doesn’t mean the chef deserves a 1 star…don’t rate at all!

  64. 5 stars
Utterly amazing 😻!! I used ground turkey and turkey sausage as meat and added sweet peppers. Felt like a warm hug on a very cold day. ❤️❤️❤️

  65. 5 stars
Amazing. My new favorite go to recipe and makes enough to have some friends over too! Also made the homemade marinara recipe. And it too was 5 star amazing!!

  66. Second time I’ve made this, and I jazzed up the marinara recipe and soup itself with additional spices (garlic powder and garlic salt, onion powder, red pepper flakes (in the marinara, too), a dash of Italian seasoning, and white mustard)

It’s so good and definitely staying in rotation!

    1. 5 stars
Absolutely! I’ve seen a bunch of videos where they add a huge heaping spoonful of it into the soup and then top the bowls off with it as well. Definitely makes it creamier!

    2. 5 stars
Oh my goodness, new favorite soup!!! So incredibly flavorful, whole family loved it. Only change, I used fettuccine due to the fact that I didn’t have lasagna on hand 😉
      Thank you!!!

  67. 5 stars
I just made this tonight. I did not use spinach and used cottage cheese in the cheese topping. This is delicious! I will have to try it with the spinach next time. This is definitely a keeper! Thanks for the recipe.

  68. 5 stars
Made multiple mistakes with this recipe and still came out fantastic. I found this recipe after realizing that I needed to use up mushrooms and ricotta, and I didn’t have time to make my veggie lasagna. I’m happy with how straightforward this was to make. Delicious meal. My 2yo had a second bowl. (She’s usually a fan of anything pasta and cheese related.)

  69. 5 stars
I have read so many recipes about lasagna soup and had to finally try yours out. I made a few minor adjustments to fit what I already had (spaghetti sauce instead of marinara) and added my frozen chicken broth which I always keep for recipes. I used less oregano and Italian seasoning since my sauce was already wonderfully flavorful. I also used rotini noodles and had the cottage cheese/mozzarella blend to top it. It was TOTALLY AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing. ❤

  70. 5 stars
Made this for a crowd this weekend. It got rave reviews! We don’t eat pork so I used all ground beef and it still turned out so flavorful!

  71. 5 stars
Fabulous soup! Typically think soups are better next day when flavors have time to settle, but this was amazing straight from the stove. My husband prefers cream based soups, so to please him, I added 1/2-3/4 cup cream. Perfect. Although, with the ricotta-mozerella-park cheese mixture for dollaping, cream is not necessary. This soup will now be in our fall/winter rotation.

  72. 5 stars
So easy to make & absolutely delicious. I used Rao’s tomato basil marinara so it was super quick. Only change I made was less ricotta as hubby isn’t a fan. I think I’ll sneak in more next time since he enjoyed the flavor!

  73. 5 stars

  74. 5 stars
This is definitely one of my favorite soups! Highly recommend using the homemade marinara sauce too. So good!

  75. Super excited to try this recipe. Have it simmering right now for dinner tonight. I made double the recipe so we can freeze a bunch for easy weeknight meals. What would be the serving size for those nutrition facts? I’m tracking on WW so would be helpful to know. thanks!

  76. 5 stars
So the hubs (Mark) loved this even better a few days after we made it!!! This is delish and I’m making for the 2nd time tonight! Cheers to a great dinner recipe, used what we had on hand, added mushrooms and used homegrown kale instead of spinach! Found you from Becky at AcreHomestead.

    1. 5 stars
First time making this and I love it! It’s even better in my opinion than traditional lasagna! Very easy recipie to follow. I will definitely be cooking this again

      1. 5 stars
Very yummy! I used all beef instead of half sausage, but followed everything else exact. Very flavorful. Only change I’ll make in the future is to break the noodles a bit smaller for easier eating. Definitely a new recipe for the dinner rotation!

  77. 5 stars
10/10!! my bf just said “this is the best soup i’ve ever had in my life” & that does nottt come easily! definitely going to be a staple soup in this household

  78. 5 stars
I made this for a soup luncheon at my school. It was gone by 10:45 a.m. Everyone asked for the recipe and requested that I bring to our next food function! Thanks for sharing this! I’ll probably never make actual lasagna again.

  79. 5 stars
So good and easy to make. I used ground turkey and added a dash of heavy cream at the end. Next time I may just used bow tie pasta for fun 🙂 Will definitely be making again

  80. 5 stars
So easy and delicious! I have never posted a comment on a recipe before, but had to with this one as it was not only fantastic, but so easy too! Excited to try more recipes on this site!

  81. After looking for a long time, I finally decided on this Lasagna Soup recipe and it did not disappoint! I always make my own marinara, added extra seasonings, extra garlic, extra spinach, used BTB beef broth, broke my noodles smaller and doubled the recipe. It made a lot, and was a HUGE hit in my lasagna loving home. The cheese mixture was wonderful…added a little garlic powder and parsley to that. I will definitely be making this again.

  82. Delicious!!! I needed a quick dinner & the family LOVED IT! I added a few extra cups of spinach to lighten it up since I used some spicy sausage. I can also see zucchini & mushrooms being a lovely addition. A+

  83. 5 stars
SOOOOO delicious!! I used Rao’s marinara as I was crunched for time and this is honestly one of the best soups I have ever had.

  84. 5 stars
Made this for the first time I’ve never made lasagna soup. I’ve always made baked lasagna but wow is this delicious over-the-top! I love soup to begin with so I’m not surprised I really enjoyed this! I used veggie ground round crumbles by MorningStar farms and some vegetarian sausage but otherwise followed the recipe exactly and I used a good jar sauce, absolutely delicious thank you for the great recipe!

  85. 5 stars
This was amazing, my boyfriend & I will be adding this to our regular fall/winter meal rotation. So delicious, & the homemade marinara recipe was worth the extra tiny bit of effort!

  86. 5 stars
This was amazing! Just did 1lb of ground beef and used 1/2 box of bow tie pasta because that’s what I had. Super easy to make!

THIS WAS DELISH!!! The only thing I did different is use cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese cuz hubby doesn’t like ricotta. Next time I’ll just buy different noodles because the lasagna noodles broken up we’re still too big. But we LOVED this soup! Thank you!

  88. Omw this soup was great I made it cause I suck at making traditional lasagnas so I gave this a try my whole family was like that just sounds nasty but I gave it a shot. Terrific recipe! Easy to follow and very customizable. Flavors were spot on and the best part was the creamy, cheesy goodness at the bottom of the bowl. My entire family gives this recipe 5 stars!

This is excellent! A local diner advertised their lasagna soup so I had to attempt to make our own! It was perfect and approved by my husband, as well as two sometimes hard to please teenagers! The only thing I’d do differently is add more spinach next time! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Made twice. 2nd time for friends. They loved it as did we. Never making pan lasagna again. This has same ingredients and flavor but less labor intensive. Thank you!

Made this tonight…first time. Excellent. Used ground beef and had 1 leftover chicken sausage. Delicious and filling. I will precook the noodles next time and break them up smaller. Did add spinach ( hiding veggies for hubby). Bringing a bowl over to my elderly neighbor too.

This was delicious and the perfect way to use up the end of a box of lasagna noodles! I went the extra mile and used my homemade sausage in this recipe. So good! Definitely five stars!

I was thinking there might be too much cheese involved here when I was finishing up cooking, but I was wrong about that. Is there ever too much cheese? Not likely. Haha 🙂 Thank you for the meal inspiration!

Delicious, delicious! Making it again. This time, will add the black beans as someone also tried. I personally mixed most of the cheeses into the soup just before serving, leaving just a little dollop in the middle of the bowl about the size of a half dollar. Wanted that cheesy goodness found in every bite. 😁 Sooo good!

Can you help me understand the calorie content? What is the estimated caloric content per serving?

Wow did we love this soup! We should have doubled it. I prefer ground turkey so i used that as the meat. I also didn’t have spinach on hand. Other than that, we followed the recipe. So good. Saving this baby!

  103. This is honestly one of my very favorite soups to make in the fall and winter! I love how easy it is to throw together and cheese stirred in deserves all of the heart eyes!!!
