Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a standard 9x5'' loaf pan.
In a small bowl sift together flour, poppy seeds, baking powder and salt.
In another large bowl cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and mix well.
Add vanilla extract and almond extract. Add the milk and sour cream and mix well. Slowly stir in dry ingredients, just until combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
