These Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats are creamy, naturally sweetened, and topped with fresh diced apples. Mix them up the night before for an easy make-ahead breakfast.
Add the milk, oats, yogurt, applesauce, chia seeds, cinnamon, and maple syrup (and protein powder, if desired) to a jar or container with a lid. Mix or shake well until fully combined.
1/2 cup milk of choice, 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats, 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt, 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1/2 Tablespoon chia seeds, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons maple syrup
Refrigerate overnight, or for at least 3 hours (or see recipe notes for quick version). Stir and add a little more milk, if you like them thinner.
Top with freshly diced apples, granola, and a sprinkle of cinnamon just before eating, if desired.

Storing Instructions: Overnight oats will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days, depending on the freshness of your milk.Add Protein Powder: Stir in a scoop of vanilla protein powder and a splash of extra milk. Yogurt: if using Greek yogurt, you may want to add a little extra milk. Gluten Free: Make sure to use certified gluten free oats.To Eat Overnight Oats Immediately, without the "overnight" rest, use quick oats, a little less milk, and allow mixture to sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes-1 hour.
