Ranger cookies are packed with all of the goodness of a traditional chocolate chip cookies, with a special added crunch!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter , softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups corn flakes cereal (*see note below)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips , milk or semi-sweet
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl cream the butter and sugars together. 

  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until incorporated. 

  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and oats and stir well to combine. 

  5. Fold in corn flakes and chocolate chips.

  6. Spoon large tablespoons of the dough onto an un-greased cookie sheet. 

  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes.

Recipe Notes

*You could use rice Krispies instead of cornflakes
