When making my Mini Grilled Cheese Hors d’Oeuvres I decided to make another fun little appetizer that is perfect for parties as well. These Turkey & Swiss Pinwheel Appetizers are super quick, very easy, and the perfect party food. Not only that, they are made with my favorite Boar’s Head meat & cheese. If you haven’t tried their meat and cheese, you must! Pinwheels are so fun and versatile – but this variation is one of my favorites.
Swiss & Turkey Pinwheel Appetizers
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 6 slices deli-style turkey
- 6 slices Swiss cheeses
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tablespoon water
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Sprinkle the flour on your work surface. Unfold the pastry sheet on the work surface.
- Brush the pastry sheet with the egg mixture. Top with the turkey & cheese slices. Starting at a short side, roll up like a jelly roll.
- Cut into about 20 (1/2-inch) slices. Place the slices, cut-side down, onto 2 baking sheets. Brush the slices with the egg mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown.
