  1. I do appreciate your timing and thoughtfulness on the planning for Easter feast (very well thought out). I would probably only eat the deviled eggs and cheesy potatoes and go home hungry. I do not care for ham or most American traditional things for holiday dinners. Give me Lasagne or Kielbasa or a traditional Italian Easter Pie for Easter! I do love many other side offerings too. Thanksgiving and Christmas is also a no-go traditional holiday for me due to my mixed heritage and regional up-bringing. Rarely is a ham or turkey served as the main solo dish, if so there are regional offerings to go along with it. Goose, duck, or pheasant is a good go to. Again, lasagne is a good default offering too. (Oyster dressing with the bird for Thanksgiving is also great). Let’s talk about a Turducken too! My family traditions rule during the holidays and I am very mixed up by region of up-bringing and by heritage. Never, Ever… Plain Ham or Turkey for me. Thanks! OMG, candied Yams, shrimp cocktail, duck drumettes, spiced apple rings, seafood chowder, maybe even some gumbo or red beans and rice as a side, etc … all not even mentioned – but I do appreciate your post and scheduled serving suggestions.

  2. You are amazing , I love your meal plans in general but this is especially awesome how you laid out the organizational piece (my struggle !) to make life easier for what can be a busy holiday . Thank you thank you!

  3. Good afternoon Lauren. I am very grateful to you for this Easter meal plan. It is (& you are) an invaluable blessing to my family this year. I am just wondering about the Cheesy Potatoes. I will be doubling the recipe. I’m not sure if I should use two pans or bake it all in one large pan??? Also, should I increase the baking time with either of option? Thanks again. God Bless! Stephanie

    1. Thanks Stephanie! You could do either–use a very large casserole dish and add 10 minutes or more to the bake time, or split it between two pans.

  4. Hi Lauren! Thanks for putting together this awesome Easter dinner meal plan. I made it yesterday and everything turned out great! I’ve made many recipes from your site and they are all great! Thanks again!

  5. Thank you so much for this! Usually my mom makes Easter dinner, but I’m quarantined with my family of 4. I wanted to do something special but not have. to work too hard. This plan was SO EASY to follow and the food was delicious. Do you have any plans like this for Thanksgiving or Christmas?

  6. I may have missed it, but could you tell how many servings your Easter menu is for?
    Thank you so sorry much

  7. I am so thankful I have stumbled across this, but especially this year. We leave in Georgia and like most states are under a shelter in place order. Every year for Easter Sunday after church we have lunch (dinner here in the south) at my mom’s house with my siblings and their children, and of course after dinner we have our big Easter egg hunt. Oh, I am so going to miss it this year, but I have decided that I am going to have Easter Sunday Dinner for my little family of four! This Easter meal plan is our exact base menu – we usually also have pineapple casserole, baked beans, green beans, corn, homemade macaroni casserole, yeast rolls or angel biscuits, coconut cake with 7 minute frosting, and a pie or two. Of course I will not be having all of those wonderful dishes, but we will enjoy it. Can’t wait to try this ham! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter.

  8. Loving your meal plans and website! Let me know what I can do to help support this and keep the weeks’ plans coming.

    1. Thanks Carrie! Just using my recipes and making comments on them is all the support I need! Thank you and happy cooking!

  9. Thank you so much for reaching out during these scary times! I am grateful to know that you will stick to your traditions and I am looking forward to trying your recipes! They are always so well thought out and easy to follow, with so many options. I have so many cookbooks but they don’t “speak” to me across the miles (not even across the room!) our tried and true recipes that are a family tradition and family favorites! : ) !

  10. I’ve just found your site. I’m going to use some of your recipes and your plan ahead ideas for Easter dinner. I cook ok, but I usually feel so flustered, I’m happy to have a plan someone else has already figured out!
