I’ve lived in St. Louis for three years now, and the humidity here during the summer still kills me. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it! I walk outside my front door and seconds later I’m already drenched in sweat. Lets just say that work-out clothes are my best friend these days 🙂

I’ve been a little obsessed with SILK products over the months, (like Silk Almondmilk that I use to make this Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oatmeal). They’re non-GMO, dairy-free, and lactose-free, so if you have family members with sensitivities to dairy, they will love these products! Lately the only thing getting me out of bed in the morning is the thought of this delicious Chocolate Oat Breakfast Drink. And it’s perfect for “breakfast on the go.” Throw everything in the blender, pour it into some lidded cups, and we’re out the door– breakfast in hand.

Chocolate Oat Breakfast Drink
- 1 cup Silk Chocolate Cashew milk or your favorite type of chocolate milk
- 2 frozens bananas
- 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4-1/2 cups ice (as needed)
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately
