Hi Lauren, Thanks for this pork recipe. Looks great and easy. I’m making it for tonight’s dinner, but was wondering, does it really only take 3-4 hours on LOW heat? I want to make sure I cook it thoroughly. Thanks!

HI Gabrielle, hope I’m not too late getting back to you! Yes, it only takes 3-4 hours on LOW heat–it’s a pretty fast meat to cook! Hope you like it!

what about if it is frozen? Would you say low for about 6-7 hours then?

Hey Meg, yes, that should work!

Do you not need to add any water? It seems like lots of times using my slow cooker the dish gets really done and almost burnt on the bottom and I have to add some liquid. Just making sure.

Hi Amy, Nope, no need to add any extra liquid at the bottom of the pan! Hope you like it!

That looks like magic. My husband would die if I made that for him.

I tried this today, but used sweet onions (its what we had) and added a little apple juice. I let it cook longer, about 6 hours on low and it came out so declious! The juices from the pork and the juice kept it from getting dry! It was a crowd favorite in our house! Thanks!!
